MG Motor UK have unveiled their all-new MG GS SUV at the 2016 London Motorshow at the Battersea Park. They were also pleased to announce that the MG GS will be the first automatic transmission car produced by the British manufacturer. The top specification model will be available with the option of a DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) gearbox. This gearbox would be more responsive and provide a much smoother ride for both driver and passenger. The MG GS SUV will be available in three different trim levels and with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.
The head of Sales and Marketing at MG, Matthew Cheyne, had the following to say, " It's not only a momentous occasion to unveil our first SUV, it is also a significant moment to announce our first automatic - something many of our customers have been waiting for, and so we're thrilled to be offering it to them" He continues, "Regarding how much this fantastic new car will cost, it will be consistent with our other models. We're proud of the fact our prices are transparent". Mr Cheyne states, " When we officially launch the GS next month, people will be able to find out more about the car's performance and when they can get behind the wheel of one".
