We are a family-owned company established in 1899. As part of our continued growth plans, we are looking to recruit a high calibre individual to join our FG Barnes branc at our Omoda Jaecoo and Vauxhall Showrooms, and at our Nissan Authorised Repair Centre as an Assistant Service Manager.

Main Purpose of Job:
To assist the Aftersales Manager in the efficient operation of the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, effective workshop performance, and the achievement of departmental objectives including delivering exceptional Customer experiences. The Assistant Service Manager will help coordinate daily operations, support the service team, and contribute to achieving labour sales, service revenue and customer satisfaction targets.
Responsibilities & Other Personal Activities:
Support the Service Manager in delivering departmental financial and operational targets including labour sales, service revenue, tyres, lubricants and related items.
Assist in coordinating the activities of Service Advisors and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations and an excellent customer experience.
Help maintain strong customer relationships and contribute to achieving above national average Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores across all brands.
Support the development and implementation of departmental sales plans and service initiatives to maximise workshop productivity and revenue.
Assist with the supervision and coordination of the service team to ensure:
Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of workshop documentation including:
Support the Service Manager in maintaining strict adherence to workshop control systems and company processes.
Provide support, guidance and assistance to the Service Team to help improve performance in areas including:
Assist with monitoring team performance and contribute to regular performance reviews with technicians and service staff.
Help ensure departmental procedures and administrative systems are followed, including:
Work closely with the Aftersales Manager to ensure the department operates efficiently and contributes to achieving or exceeding financial and customer service targets.

Salary: £40k, OTE £48K
