Service / Warranty Administrator
Salary: £30k - £33,600 OTE)
At FG Barnes in Guildford, Surrey. We are a family owned company established since 1899. We are looking to recruit a high calibre individual to join us as a Service and Warranty Adminstrator for a multi-franchise Workshop ( Vauxhall / OMODA / JAECOO and Nissan) 
Relevant experience required.
Key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Service Administration- Schedule, confirm, and
      manage service bookings to ensure efficient workshop loading.
		
- Open and process job
      cards for all workshop work in line with company and manufacturer
      requirements.
		
- Maintain accurate
      records of all service work, ensuring customer and vehicle details are
      kept up to date.
		
- Liaise with the
      workshop team to monitor job progress and update customers accordingly.
		
- Invoice completed jobs
      promptly and accurately, checking labour, parts, VAT, and any non-revenue
      items.
		
 
- Warranty Administration- Accurately prepare,
      submit, and track manufacturer warranty claims within required deadlines.
		
- Ensure all claims meet
      manufacturer standards and are fully supported with the necessary
      documentation.
		
- Monitor claim
      rejections and provide corrective action where necessary.
		
- Maintain detailed
      records of all claims for audit and compliance purposes.
		
- Ensure the business
      maximises warranty claim opportunities while adhering to manufacturer
      guidelines.
		
 
- Customer & Dealer
     Support
	- Prepare service
      handover packs and customer documentation.
		
- Handle customer queries
      relating to service work, invoicing, or warranty in a professional and
      timely manner.
		
 
- Compliance &
     Reporting
	- Assist in maintaining
      accurate service history records and compliance documentation.
		
- Support the Service
      Manager with reporting, audits, and manufacturer standards.
		
 
- Other Duties- Provide holiday cover
      and support for Service Advisors as required.
		
- Carry out other ad hoc
      administrative tasks in line with the needs of the dealership.

Job Type:
- Full-time, 45 hours. Can be flexible for the right candidate
Pay:
- £30,000 per year (£33,600 OTE)
