Used Car Buyer

FG Barnes & Sons is a long established multi franchise, multi site motor retail group operating in Guildford, Maidstone and Canterbury.

In addition to its franchise outlets, the company is embarking upon stand alone used car centres which will trade under the Car Save banner. The first Car Save location has opened in Guildford and roll out at Maidstone and Canterbury are already in planning.

Due to this initiative the company is looking to recruit a group used car buyer to lead the used car buying function of the franchise locations and the Car Save outlets.

Applications are invited from candidates who can demonstrate a successful track record in the following disciplines:

• Multi source used car buying
• Buying from car auctions both physical and on line
• Direct supply buying from corporate / leasing companies
• Assisting with screen pricing and over age control

This is a newly created appointment and the considerable salary and benefits package are commensurate with the importance of the role.
