Automotive Welder/Fabricator

At FG Barnes DAF in Guildford, Surrey

We are a family-owned company established since 1899 and have locations in Guildford, Maidstone, Canterbury and Shoreham representing Vauxhall, Nissan, Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, MG, SEAT, CUPRA and DAF Brands. As part of our continued growth plans, we are looking to recruit a high calibre individual to join our FG Barnes DAF Guildford branch as an Automotive Welder/Fabricator.

Being a HGV dealership, you will be working on trailer repairs. The successful candidate will need to be able to do MIG, TIG and Stick Welding and prior experience working in the automotive industry would be advantageous.

Our workshop is open from 7:30am until 23:00pm so we are able to offer flexibility with your working hours:

· Monday to Friday days – 9 hours per day

· Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday – 11.25 hours per day

For those who prefer to do permanent lates, you will receive shift allowance on top of your hourly rate.
