From practical starts to positive change.

The new SEAT e-HYBRID has arrived, and runs on 100% electric power, making the switch to petrol only when its battery needs to recharge.

The new SEAT Leon e-HYBRID is a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), and like most hybrids, it can recharge the battery automatically or by plugging in. This means that the vehicle will use the electric motor as its first port of call, and will only resort to the petrol engine for extra power if needed.

To recharge, simply plug the vehicle into a conventional power network. This advanced technology means that the new Leon e-HYBRID potentially has more range than a pure battery electric car.

The interior of the SEAT Leon e-HYBRID is light and bright, and surrounds those who enter with space and comfort. The air-vents mimic the front grille design, and sharp lines bring character throughout.

The cabin brings minimalistic design, and a free-standing 8.25” touchscreen (or up to 10” on higher spec models) infotainment centre, offering all the connectivity you should need when out on the road.

Opt for the FR model and you’ll get colourful stitching on the seats which match the exterior paint job. Higher spec FR Sport versions allow you to add customisable mood lighting from the dashboard to the doors.

SE Dynamic trims upwards receive SEAT’s Digital Cockpit, which brings a digital instrument cluster placed behind the steering wheel. Ambient lighting wraps around the full width of the dashboard and into the doors, which acts as a built in safety system bringing blind spot detection. These models also hold online connectivity, gesture and voice control, and 3D connected navigation.

A 5-door hatchback is offered on each of the 4 trims available for the SEAT Leon e-HYBRID. A handwriting-style ‘Leon’ badge script stands proudly on the rear of the vehicle, adding more character to the stylish exterior.

17” or 18” alloy wheels guide the SEAT Leon e-HYBRID along the road so you can always arrive in style, and sporty details and distinctive lines bring a new fresh look to life.

Continuous LED headlights light the full length of the rear design, and LED high beam is automatic on this model, so you don’t have to worry about switching off when a car is ahead.

The Leon e-HYBRID protects you and offers assistance at all times. Side & Exit Assist provide advanced sensors to monitor blind spots when changing lanes, when pulling out of a parking spot, or exiting the vehicle.

An attractive diamond grille is at the forefront of the new Leon design, meaning this car is not made to fit in.

Engine and electric technology

Unlike a pure electric car, the new SEAT Leon e-HYBRID lets you increase your total range with thanks to flexible charging options.

The plug-in 75kW electric engine is combined with a 1.4 litre TSI engine to achieve 204 PS of power. The Leon e-HYBRID will get you where you need to go, by choosing only electric mode will see you reach up to 36 miles of range, or opt for both electric and petrol to work together on your drive.

Plug-in options can take you from 0-100% in under 4 hours with a home wallbox charger such as Pod Point, or you can go from 0-100% in 6 hours with a conventional 3-pin plug.

Who would have thought that braking would help you go further? Regenerative braking recharges the electric motor to give you more power on the road.

Benefits of switching to hybrid:

  • The electric engine uses regenerative braking to increase range
  • Travel up to 36 miles with zero CO2 emissions
  • Charge and use the battery when it suits you
