This new model offers an outstanding driving experience, combining the perfect balance between sportiness and sophistication in its interior and exterior design. CUPRA Leon boasts a highly connected, digitalised user experience for its owner, and integrates some of the most advanced driver assistance systems available.
The CUPRA Leon is available in five metallic paints: Candy White, Magnetic Tech, Midnight Black and Urban Silver. Two special finishes, Desire Red and Graphene Grey are also available, as well as two exclusive matte paint options in Magnetic Tech Matte and Petrol Blue Matte.
A range of performance-orientated petrol engines are available on the CUPRA Leon, with electrified options in the form of a plug-in hybrid system so customers can choose an engine that best suits them.
The 2.0 litre TSI petrol engine is available in 245PS, 300PS, and 310PS (exclusively available for the estate version) power outputs to deliver real performance on the road.
Available in both hatchback and estate variants is the electrified CUPRA Leon, which offers a 245PS (180kW) plug-in hybrid variant for those who want the same performance as you’d expect from a CUPRA, but won’t come as an environmental cost. The CUPRA Leon eHybrid holds a 150PS (110kW) 250Nm 1.4 litre TSI petrol engine, a 115PS (85kW) electric motor, and 13kWh lithium-ion battery pack to give a total of 400Nm torque.
Guiding this model along the road is CUPRA-specific 19” alloy wheels, with the choice of black/copper or black/silver. Housed inside the wheels are copper-coloured Brembo brakes, adding a touch of contemporary design to the exterior. Two dual exhausts, a diffuser and a rear spoiler add to its sporty look, and the coast-to-coast lights deliver a visual focus at all times.
Enter the cabin and you will be greeted by luxurious interior of which is both comfortable and convenient. The driver gets sporty bucket seats as standard, and looks ahead onto a CUPRA steering wheel, home to the engine start and driver mode selection button. An interactive driver display is placed on the dashboard behind the steering wheel, projecting all the information you may need when on the road.
A 10” touchscreen infotainment system joins the dashboard of the CUPRA Leon, which incorporates retina display and offers 3D online navigation. The system has integrated voice and gesture control, making it as easy as possible to control your entertainment whilst keeping your eyes on the road ahead. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is compatible to be linked with SEAT’s Full Link system wirelessly, keeping the interior clean and uncluttered at all times.
Built-in eSIM delivers an eCall service directly contacts emergency services should an incident occur, adding to an extensive list of safety features on this model.
Other safety features include Traffic Jam Assist, helping to maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front, staying in lane (based on road markings) and, with Lane Assist Plus, keeps the car in the centre of the lane.
If the vehicle senses that the driver has removed their hands from the steering wheel for longer than 15 seconds, the driver will receive audible and visual warnings. A braking jolt can be given, and if the driver continues to respond, the Emergency Assist 3.0 system will bring the vehicle to a complete stop.
