Update on on-going renovation at FG Barnes in Guildford

FG Barnes in Guildford is now well on its way to complete the 9 month long multi-million pound renovation of the Vauxhall showroom. The FG Barnes Vauxhall franchise is the longest running Vauxhall dealership in the country, and will see the site grow considerably from the new development.

Building works began back in July, and since then, the entire building has been demolished and built upon with external structures and a roof now securely in place. Interior design will soon have the go-ahead to start filling it out from the inside.

The renovation work will offer customers a more pleasurable retail experience, and will be able to offer more jobs to meet the high demand of Vauxhall vehicles this year. An exciting year lies ahead with the all-new Vauxhall Corsa and Corsa-e launch, as well as the new Grandland X Hybrid4 and the new Astra model all hitting UK roads in the first quarter.

The all-new Vauxhall Corsa sets to impress this year with a completely new exterior, and an interior that remains stylish with added technology with the latest innovation at your fingertips. The spacious cabin welcomes you in and emerges you with technology on the 7” colour touchscreen entertainment system, and the exterior is more modern and dynamic than ever. Not only that, but this amazing new model is also available as a full electric version!

The all-new Corsa is the perfect Vauxhall for city and suburban driving as it strikes the ideal balance between low fuel consumption and driving excitement. The fifth-generation Corsa features a range of high-efficiency petrol and diesel powertrains, in addition to reduced fuel consumption and offering less CO2 emissions versus the outgoing model.

FG Barnes Vauxhall doesn’t have long left to wait until the new showroom will be unveiled, and will be moving into it alongside the groups’ Nissan dealership. The work is due to be completed by the end of March 2020, however the site is open for business as usual in a temporary showroom next to the building works onsite during this period.
